Polsinelli Shalton Welte Suelthaus acquires a firm in Chicago
Kansas City-based Polsinelli Shalton Welte Suelthaus has acquired Chicago-based law firm Nasharr & Shea. The founding partners of Nasharr & Shea, along with four other attorneys, will join Polsinelli Shalton's Chicago office. Cited as one of the fastest-growing law firm by the National Law Journal, Polsinelli Shalton concentrates on business law, financial services, real estate, public law, and litigation.
Gardner Carton & Douglas opens office in Manhattan
Best known for its healthcare, bankruptcy, and general corporate practices, Chicago's Gardner Carton & Douglas has opened a Manhattan office with two bankruptcy partners. Stephanie Wickcouski, head of Washington, DC, office, will relocate as a managing partner. Janice Grubin, previously working with Wormser, Kiely, Galef & Jacobs, will be the other partner.
