Tampa office of our client seeks healthcare information technology attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The candidate will handle sophisticated and complex regulatory compliance and information technology work. Will draft and negotiate contracts, draft policies and procedures, read and advise clients on regulations and data privacy and security best practices, work with clients to help them understand compliance obligations, seek guidance from regulators, and write memos. Must have experience with drafting technology contracts, including software purchase agreements, technology licensing, data use agreements, data storage agreements, and software development agreements. Experience with drafting policies and procedures, including BYOD policies, incident response policies, data breach notification policies, data destruction policies, acceptable use policies, employee privacy disclosures, and security policies is essential. Experience with various privacy and security regulations and frameworks including NIST and HIPAA is needed. Experience with analyzing and applying complex regulations to legal fact patterns is essential. Experience of interpreting healthcare regulations (including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, telemedicine laws, and state provider licensing laws) is preferred. Must be licensed in Florida.
