Rochester office is seeking a healthcare attorney with 10+ years of experience in corporate/healthcare transactions. Candidate should have experience in hospital/physician alignment issues; health care entity and physician practice mergers, acquisitions and affiliations; regulatory investigations and corporate compliance programs; and experience with core areas such as Fraud and Abuse, Medicare/Medicaid anti-kickback, Stark, HIPAA, ACO and health care reimbursement. A portable and sustainable book of business is required.

Rochester office of our client seeks health care attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The candidate will be researching and providing legal advice with respect to regulatory, compliance, treatment, and other legal issues impacting health care providers, including HIPAA, fraud and abuse/false claims laws, anti-kickback and self-referral laws, third-party medical assistance coverage (Medicare and Medicaid), and reimbursement matters. Will be advising and representing health care providers and entities in all aspects of their business and corporate transactions, including in the purchase and sale of their entities/practices. Advising and representing providers with regulatory investigations (including by the New York Attorney General's office, the Office of Medicaid Inspector General, and the Department of Health). Reviewing and drafting compliance plans and admission, vendor service, managed care and related agreements for health care clients. Drafting and enforcement of Health Care employment and independent contractor agreements, including non-compete provisions and confidentiality agreements. Interacting with federal and state agencies regarding medical assistance eligibility issues and representing clients in the negotiation and litigation of health care matters. Assisting health care clients with the collection of health care debts. Assisting clients with the formation of New Health Care Legal Entities (including professional practices as well as Article 28 licensed health care facilities). Presenting health care seminars to health care clients and community groups.
