Atlanta office of our client seeks patent agent with 2+ years of experience in the computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering sectors. The candidate will be working with inventors and attorneys in order to prepare and prosecute patent applications directed to emerging technologies. Will identify inventions through technical discussions with inventors. Performing novelty and clearance searches to distinguish inventions from the current state of the art. Drafting comprehensive patent applications. Working with attorneys to negotiate with the Patent Office the scope of rights afforded by patent applications. Preparing reports and other support documentation in order to assist in the management of patent portfolios. Must have a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science Engineering. Should preferably have experience with big data, data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and mobile communication systems.
