The candidate will handle defense of agency charges of discrimination, lawsuits involving a broad range of employment related claims. Will advise and counsel clients on all employment issues. Train and advise employers on a wide range of employment laws and regulations. Represent employees in court, before administrative agencies, mediations and arbitrations in a board range of employment matters including discrimination, employment tort and non-compete cases. Pennsylvania Bar Admission is essential. Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques is essential.
Philadelphia office of our client seeks mid-level labor and employment attorney with 3-5 years of experience in transactional employment work. The candidate should have experience of wage and hour audits, advice and counseling, drafting of EEOC position statements, federal and state employment law research and analysis of complex issues, preparation of employment-related documents, such as employment and severance agreements, workplace policies and procedures, leaves of absence forms and letters, and employee communications. Employment training experience is also desired. Pennsylvania Bar admission is required. Pennsylvania/New Jersey admission is preferred.
