Washington, D.C. office of our client seeks mid- to senior level electric attorney with 4-7 years of experience. The candidate should have experience in FERC regulatory matters, particularly transactions. Must have solid, well-rounded foundational knowledge of regulatory policies under the Federal Power Act, the Public Utility Regulatory Policies Act, and other federal energy laws and regulations. FERC regulatory transactional experience, in particular familiarity with Section 203. Knowledge of Open Access Transmission Tariff Filings is essential. Familiarity with NERC reliability standards is needed. Experience with transmission rate cases before FERC is essential.
