White Plains office of our client seeks real estate finance attorney with 3-5 years of experience.
White Plains office of our client seeks real estate attorney with 2-3 years of residential mortgage financing experience, including experience in preparation of Closing Disclosures, HUD Settlement Statements, UCC financing statements and other loan documents for closing. The candidate will be handling all aspects of residential mortgage loan closings for single family residences, condominiums and co-ops. Will be interfacing, communicating and coordinating with Lenders, Borrowers, Attorneys, mortgage brokers, title companies, management companies, and co-workers. Insuring compliance with TRID, Truth in Lending and individual lenders procedures and policies. Reviewing title reports, loan documents, closing documents, Assignments, CEMA documents, Recognition Agreements. Monitoring satisfaction of loan conditions and providing status updates to all parties. Preparing loan documents, Closing Disclosures, UCC Financing Statements, and CEMA documents. Conducting and managing mortgage loan closings in accordance with Lender's and firm's practices and procedures. Managing internal firm practices and procedures, including file assignments, managing deadlines, implementing changes as necessary to conform with Lender's policies and procedures and internal protocols. Submitting required periodic reports to lenders and providing feedback to firm and lenders of problems, improvements, efficiencies and methods. Develop and maintain relationships with lenders, mortgage brokers, title companies ad loan officers. Must be familiar with the TRID disclosure process and all aspects of the transaction from contract to closing (i.e. review title report, lien searches, order Assignment docs, review LLCs and Trust Agreements). Must have knowledge of Product, Investor and Compliance requirements.
White Plains office is seeking an attorney with 5-7 years of experience handling sophisticated commercial real estate transactions. Corporate transactions experience including, acquisitions and dispositions, financings, entity formation including governing documents, corporate documents and agreements, business counseling and general commercial agreements is a plus.
