Dare we say that this mid-sized Boston firm is fun? But truthfully, it is. A full service firm with modest but comfortable offices has some of the most interesting attorneys around. With impressive achievement both inside and outside of the office, these attorneys excel at young ages. For instance, one young lawyer is taking a leadership role in a Boston CLE program. Another is heading a prominent and fun community program. And, importantly, both are valued by the leadership of the firm for their contributions. Interesting clientele have followed, including notable sports teams and Fortune 500s. We believe the best practice areas are bankruptcy and creditor's rights and construction, which will continue to be busy over the next several months and years.

This small office of a multinational firm has created almost a perfect microcosm of the firm at large: with a handful of lawyers in every primary practice group, this firm has at least one attorney 'on the ground' to handle all the legal needs of a Boston based client. Firm-wide, national growth has made it somewhat difficult for this firm to preserve its culture--but the effort is certainly being made to keep each office a place where associates are valued and evaluated on their overall contribution to the firm--not just their practice area. The advantage to their Boston office is that it doesn't suffer from the uncontrolled growth, and remains quite parochial. We hear that it is a great office in which to work.
