Charles “Chuck” Charpentier will be with the corporate group at Troutman Sanders LLP. He was with Cooley LLP.

Robert Ray has joined the white collar criminal litigation group at Thompson & Knight LLP. Ray left Fox Rothschild LLP.

Claudia Simon has joined Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP in its merger and acquisition group. Simon previously practiced with Paul Hastings.

David Schwartzbaum has joined the merger and acquisition group at Covington & Burling. Schwartzbaum previously practiced with Greenberg Traurig.

Veronica McGregor has joined Goodwin Procter in its banking group. McGregor joins from Hogan Lovells.

Lior Nuchi has joined the mergers and acquisitions group at McGuireWoods LLP. Nuchi joins from Alston & Bird LLP.

Peyton Smith has joined McGuireWoods LLP in its labor and employment group. Smith joins from Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C.

Paul Roberts has joined Cooley in its tax group. Roberts joins from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
